Beloved, welcome to C H O F Ministry—where Scripture meets innovation and the Spirit brings clarity that cuts through confusion. ✨
Today, our Inspirational theme is called Inner Healing: Naming the Wound, Choosing the Way. 💔➡️💖
We have 3 biblical verses that will anchor our theme (CSB):
1. Psalm 34:18 — “The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he saves those crushed in spirit.” 🙏🏾
2. Matthew 11:28 — “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” 🕊️
3. Jeremiah 30:17 — “But I will bring you health and will heal you of your wounds—this is the Lord’s declaration.” 🌿
C H O F Ministry Philosophical Term for Today is the Greek word σῴζω (sōzō).
Beloved, sōzō means to save, to heal, to make whole—not only rescue from sin but restoration of the person. God doesn’t just forgive; He reintegrates our hearts. 🧩✨
Bishop Houston’s Personal Reflection ✍️
I have learned that healing often begins where truth hurts, but love holds. The Lord never exposes a wound to shame us, but to clean it, cover it, and claim it for His glory. If you are tender today, know this: tenderness is not weakness; it’s evidence you’re still alive to God. 💗
Beloved, hurt unhealed becomes a lens; it colors how we see God, ourselves, and one another. Jesus invites us to bring our whole story, not the polished version, because grace cannot mend what we refuse to name.
Here’s three movements of healing:
1. Name it: Call the wound by its honest name before God (fear, betrayal, loss). 🗣️
2. Nurture it: Sit with Jesus in prayerful rest; let Scripture speak over the wound (Ps 34:18). 🛐
3. Navigate it: Take one small step; confide safely, set a boundary, seek wise counsel. 🧭
Healing is not instant; it’s faithfulness in motion. And every step toward Jesus is wholeness underway. 🚶🏾♀️🚶🏾♂️
C H O F Throne Room Decrees (Say It, Then See It)
Bishop Houston: Beloved, declare this with me:
• I am not my wound; I am God’s workmanship. ✋🏾
• Christ is restoring what pain tried to erase. ✝️
• My honesty is the doorway to my healing. 🚪
• In Jesus’ name, I will take one faithful step today. 🕊️
🧭 Live the Word today
1. Name one wound in a private journal sentence.
2. Read Psalm 34:18 aloud and breathe slowly for 60 seconds.
3. Tell one safe person (pastor, counselor, trusted friend) you’re beginning a healing journey this week.
Digital Discipleship Tip
Before posting, ask: “Will this help someone heal—or reopen a wound?” Choose healing. 💬🩹
🙌🏾 Let Us Go Into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy.
Heavenly Father, we come as we are—no hiding, no pretending. Draw near to every broken heart; breathe rest upon the weary; speak Your sōzō over our story. Give us courage to name our pain, grace to walk with wisdom, and hope that refuses to quit. Stitch our hearts with Your steadfast love until scars become testimonies. Through Jesus Christ our Healer. To God be The Glory. 🕊️
May the God who is near to the broken restore your courage, steady your breath, and crown your honesty with peace—today and throughout this week. 🌅
