C H O F Ministry: “Where Scripture Meets Innovation” 🙌🏿

🌞 Good Morning, Mighty Builders of God’s Kingdom

“Popularity draws a crowd, but the anointing changes lives.”
– Bishop W. F. Houston, Jr. ✝️

🔑 Divine Revelation:
“But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7, KJV) 📖

💡 Our Philosophical Term For Today Is: Anointing (Greek: Chriō) 🏛️
Meaning: To be divinely appointed and empowered by God for a specific purpose. This isn’t something people can give or take away; it’s poured out by God Himself.

🤔 Growing up, I remember hearing the loudest singers get the most applause and the flashiest preachers and the preachers with a harmonic whooping or hoop fill the biggest rooms. Yet, when trouble came knocking at people’s doors, it wasn’t the ones with big names they ran to, it was the quiet, praying mother in the back pew or the humble servant who carried oil-stained hands from a life of intercession. Popularity echoes, but the anointing leaves a mark you don’t forget.

🌟 Beloved, we live in a time where the stage is more crowded than the altar. Lights, cameras, and applause can draw attention, but they don’t break yokes or heal broken hearts. The true measure of spiritual power isn’t in the size of the platform but in the weight of the anointing. Can we still recognize God’s chosen, even when they’re not trending or celebrated? Are we drawn to what looks good or to what carries the power of God?

It’s time we ask ourselves, are we clapping for the performance or standing with those carrying the cross? One entertains; the other transforms.

Let Us Go Into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:

Heavenly Father 👑,
Help us to look beyond the surface and see where Your Spirit truly rests. Teach us not to be distracted by bright lights and loud voices but to be drawn to those carrying Your anointing, even if they stand unseen by the crowd. Give us the wisdom to support those who walk closely with You and the courage to stand with the anointed, not just the popular. May our hearts long for what is holy over what is hyped. In Jesus’ mighty name,
To God Be The Glory. 🙏🏿

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️Walk in Discernment and Boldness, I’m Bishop W. F. Houston Jr., standing with those who carry the oil, not just the spotlight!
