C H O F Ministry: “Where Scripture Meets Innovation” 🙌🏿

Good morning, beloved! As we gather on this glorious Resurrection morning, let our hearts rejoice in the victory our risen Savior has secured for us.

“Resurrection Morning is God’s great reversal—the day He overturned sin’s verdict and set us free.” – Bishop W. F. Houston Jr. Theological Educator & Spiritual Inspirationalist ✝️

Divine Revelation:
“Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen.” – Luke 24:5-6 (KJV) 📖

Now, let’s explore our Philosophical Term for today: “Justification.”
Justification – Derived from Latin justificatio and Greek dikaiōsis (δικαίωσις), meaning “to make righteous” or “to declare just.” It signifies the act by which God, the ultimate Judge, declares a repentant believer righteous through the atoning sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the light of Easter, justification is more than doctrine—it’s our reality: the guilty record of our sin is expunged, and we stand acquitted before God because Jesus lives.

At dawn on the first Easter, Mary Magdalene and the disciples found something world-changing: the tomb was empty. They arrived expecting death and defeat, but instead discovered life and hope. The enormous stone that had sealed Jesus’ tomb was rolled away by divine power. In that moment, heaven proclaimed a stunning verdict: Jesus has conquered the grave, and with that triumph, He overturned the sentence of sin and death for all who believe. What seemed like the darkest defeat on Friday was revealed as the greatest victory on Sunday morning.

🤔 I remember sitting in a courtroom years ago, watching a judge overturn the conviction of a man who had been wrongfully accused. The tension in the air broke into shouts of joy as the gavel fell, and that man was declared innocent, unshackled right before our eyes. That powerful image of sudden freedom stays with me. In a much deeper way, when Jesus rose, each of us had our spiritual death sentence overturned. We were guilty as charged in the high court of Heaven, but because Christ took our place and defeated the grave, we can walk out of the courtroom of judgment free and redeemed.

🌈 Beloved, the stone has been rolled away not only from Christ’s tomb but also from the grave of our past and our pain. Because Jesus lives, you can now walk free of fear, shame, and every chain that once bound you. Just as the morning sun dispelled the darkness of that first Easter, the light of Christ’s resurrection shines into the darkest corners of your life, bringing hope and new beginnings.

Therefore, step forward today in faith and joy as one who has been fully pardoned and empowered by grace. The verdict over your life is no longer “guilty” – it is “forgiven” and “beloved.” In practical terms, this means you can let go of past guilt, extend forgiveness to others, and pursue your God-given purpose with boldness. Let the world see the evidence of your freedom in the way you love, the way you forgive, and the way you live with hope. Your life is a living testimony that the grave is empty, and your verdict has been overturned by Jesus!

Let Us Go Into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:

Heavenly Father, we come boldly before You this blessed morning with hearts of gratitude. Thank You for the cross and the empty tomb — thank You for overturning the verdict of sin and death that was against us. We rejoice that by the blood of Jesus and the power of His resurrection, we are forgiven and free! Lord, help us to walk in this freedom each day and to live as those whom You have redeemed. Empower us to be ambassadors of hope to those still in darkness, sharing the good news that Jesus is alive. Strengthen our faith and fill us with resurrection power as we go forth, that our lives may continually declare “He is risen indeed!” In Jesus’ Name, we pray. To God Be The Glory!

Beloved, as you go forth on this Resurrection morning, may you walk in the fullness of joy and liberty that Christ has purchased for you. You are no longer a slave to sin; you are a redeemed child of God, walking in newness of life. Rejoice, for the Lord is risen, and so you live in His victory!

Have a Blessed Resurrection Sunday, everyone! ✝️
