C H O F Ministry: “Where Scripture Meets Innovation” 🙌🏿

Greetings, valiant warriors of faith! Today, we dare to remove the coverings of tradition, ego, and comfort—because when God reveals holy ground, He also requires bare surrender. ✨

“Some doors don’t open until you take off what’s been shielding your soul.”

🔑 Divine Revelation:
“And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.” – Exodus 3:5 (KJV) 📖

💡 Our Philosophical Term For Today: Hierophany (ἱεροφάνεια) (Greek) 🏛️
Meaning: A hierophany is a visible manifestation of the divine in the natural realm—a sacred interruption of the ordinary. It marks the moment when heaven breaks through and transforms the ground into something sacred, awakening both awe and reverence.

🤔 There was a moment in my life when I realized I had walked too long in shoes made of pride and fear. I wanted God’s presence, but I didn’t want to remove what was familiar. I remember praying for breakthrough, but all I heard was silence—until one day, I sensed the Spirit whisper: “You’re standing on holy ground, but you’re wearing Egypt’s shoes.” That moment changed everything. I took off what I thought was necessary, and I felt what I had never known—divine closeness.

🌈 Beloved,
Sometimes God doesn’t move us forward because we haven’t yet stood still long enough to recognize we’re already in the place He wants to speak. God told Moses to remove his shoes not for cleanliness but for consecration. Shoes represent what we’ve walked through—our past, our pain, our assumptions. But holy ground demands that we come to God raw, unguarded, and open. Take off your shoes—shed the residue of past trauma, pride, or self-sufficiency—and stand reverently. For in this posture of surrender, revelation is born.🔥

🙏🏿 Let Us Go Into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:

Heavenly Father 👑, we come before You today with open hearts and uncovered feet. Strip us of every barrier—every mindset, fear, or prideful thought that keeps us from fully entering Your presence. We don’t want to miss our moment of divine encounter. Show us the holiness in the places we’ve taken for granted. May we bow, may we reverence, may we listen. In Jesus’ mighty name, To God Be The Glory. 🙏🏿

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️Step lighter and reverence deeper, I’m Bishop W. F. Houston Jr., Theological Educator & Spiritual Inspirationalist—reminding you that when God calls you barefoot, He’s preparing to reveal His glory through holy ground!
