Our Philosophical Term For Today: Akrasia (ἀκρασία) (Ancient Greek) 🏛️
Meaning: Akrasia refers to a lack of self-control or acting against one’s better judgment. It’s the internal conflict where we sabotage our own goals, dreams, and progress. In a spiritual sense, it mirrors the struggle Paul describes in Romans 7:15: “For what I would, that I do not; but what I hate, that I do.”

🤔I once had a dream so clear, so God-given, that I could almost touch it. But every time I took a step forward, something seemed to pull me back. At first, I blamed others—critics, distractions, even circumstances. But then I realized the real enemy was within me. Fear, doubt, and insecurity were whispering lies, causing me to sabotage my own progress. It wasn’t until I confronted these internal battles with God’s truth that I began to break free.

Sabotage is a thief—it steals your confidence, your progress, and your peace. But here’s the truth: You have the power to overcome it. Whether it’s self-doubt, fear, or external opposition, remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11) and stand firm. Your destiny is too great to be derailed by sabotage.

Let Us Go Into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:
Heavenly Father, 👑 we come before You, acknowledging the battles we face—both within and around us. Break every chain of sabotage in our lives. Silence the lies of the enemy and fill us with Your truth. Equip us with Your armor and strengthen us to walk in the victory You’ve already secured for us.
