C H O F Ministry: “Where Scripture Meets Innovation” 🙌🏿

Greetings, valiant warriors of faith! May the light of God’s truth pierce every hidden corner of our hearts, guiding us onto the path of righteousness. ✨

“A heart that embraces sin but rejects correction has lost sight of God’s holiness and love.”

Divine Revelation: 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) 📖
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

Our Philosophical Term For Today: “Noutheteo” (νουθετέω) (Greek) 🏛️
Meaning: “To admonish or correct.” This concept emphasizes loving guidance and gentle correction that fosters spiritual growth, rather than harsh condemnation.

🤔 I recall a conversation with a good friend where I gently pointed out a harmful habit I noticed. Instead of receiving it as an act of care, they responded with offense and anger. It hurt me to see how the very sin that was causing them harm didn’t stir them as much as my genuine correction did. Reflecting on 2 Timothy 3:16, I was reminded that the Word of God serves as our faithful mirror; it corrects us—not to shame us, but to shape us. And though correction can sting, it’s ultimately an act of divine love.

🌈 Beloved, sin reduces our spiritual senses, often leaving us visionless to the depths of its damage. Yet, when godly correction comes, it can feel like a bright light exposing what we prefer to hide. If we find ourselves more offended by biblical correction than by sin itself, we’ve veered off the path of true discipleship. Embrace correction as God’s gracious invitation to realign with His holiness. Remember, He disciplines us in love so that we can walk in freedom rather than bondage.

Let Us Go Into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:

Heavenly Father, 👑 thank You for loving us enough to correct us. Soften our hearts to receive Your Word, and grant us humility to welcome reproof that leads to true freedom. May we be offended by sin rather than by the gentle corrections You send through Scripture and wise counsel. In Jesus’ mighty name, To God Be The Glory. 🙏🏿
