📖 Proverbs 19:21 (CSB): “Many plans are in a person’s heart, but the Lord’s decree will prevail.”

In life, we often craft our own plans, filled with desires and ambitions. Yet, Proverbs 19:21 reminds us that while our hearts may devise many plans, it is God’s purpose that ultimately prevails. The Hebrew words “machashavot” (plans) and “etzah” (decree) highlight the difference between human intention and divine purpose. 🙏🏿

God’s sovereign will is unshakable, and aligning our lives with His purpose leads to true fulfillment. Our challenge is to bring our plans before God, allowing His counsel to guide us. When we do, we find direction, peace, and the assurance that we are walking in His perfect will.

As you begin a new week, reflect on your current goals. Are they aligned with God’s purpose? Surrender your plans to Him, trusting that His decree will lead you to a life of true fulfillment. 🎥
