🌞 🫂Good morning, beloved. Today, let us reflect on the profound truth of being divinely chosen despite earthly rejection. 🌟
✝️1 Peter 2:9 (CSB): “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
💭Bishop Houston’s Contemplation:
Friends, though people may overlook you, remember, you are handpicked by God. This morning’s verse reminds us of our divine selection, a calling that transcends human validation. 💫
Being rejected by the masses but chosen by the divine is a paradox that challenges our understanding of worth and validation. We often seek approval and acceptance from those around us, but God’s choice elevates us beyond earthly rejections. He sees our true potential and purpose, calling us out of darkness into His marvelous light. 🕊️
Our morning scripture collectively reminds us that our identity and worth are found in God’s selection, not in human approval. We’re a chosen race, a royal priesthood, called to live in His light and proclaim “His” praises. 🌟
Imagine being rejected by the masses, yet chosen by the divine. The irony of being overlooked by humanity, yet handpicked by the Almighty, challenges us to rethink where we place our worth. Are we defined by the opinions of others, or do we find our true purpose in the eyes of the Creator? God’s selection is not based on our popularity or human accolades but on His sovereign will and love for us.
Beloved, embrace your divine selection, for in God’s eyes, you are invaluable. 🙏🏿
Let Us Go into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:Heavenly Father, we come before You in awe of Your boundless love and divine selection. Though the world may overlook us, we find our true worth in being chosen by You. Help us to embrace our identity in Your eyes and to live out our calling with confidence and joy. To God be The Glory. 🙌🏾
Have a Blessed Day Everyone! 🫶🏽
