Friends, grace is a profound and beautiful mystery, a divine gift that shapes our lives in ways we often don’t fully comprehend. Today, we embark on a journey to unravel the mysteries of grace, understanding its transformative power and how it sustains us. 🌟

Bishop Houston’s Contemplation:

Grace is one of the most powerful and yet enigmatic aspects of our faith. It’s through grace that we receive salvation, are sustained in our daily walk, and find strength in our weakest moments. Grace is not earned; it’s a gift freely given by God, reflecting His boundless love and mercy.

Consider the Apostle Paul, who understood grace deeply. Despite his past as a persecutor of Christians, Paul’s life was transformed by the grace of God. His testimony in 1 Corinthians 15:10 highlights how grace not only redeemed him but also empowered him to labor abundantly for the Gospel.

Grace is multifaceted:

*Saving Grace: It is by grace that we are saved, not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). This unmerited favor is the foundation of our relationship with God.

**Sustaining Grace: In our daily lives, grace sustains us through trials and tribulations. Paul speaks of a thorn in his flesh and how God’s grace was sufficient for him (2 Corinthians 12:9).

***Empowering Grace: Grace empowers us to serve and fulfill our God-given purposes. It enables us to go beyond our natural abilities and limitations.
